Assets for Colorado youth have identified 40 building blocks of healthy development that help young people grow up healthy, caring, and responsible. The following programs were created to meet those building blocks: Monday - Friday - 3:30 - 6:30 pm, after school program. The Rock House offers a safe, supportive environment which presents a positive environment to the young people who come in for the after school program. Monday - Friday - 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Free Tuturing Program, for 35 students who desire to improve their GPAs they are tracked and it is a 2 year commitment.
Clear Creek Rock House is in the process of developing a student board. Currently, Clear Creek Rock House has between 10-30 young people who come in for the after school programs on any given day. Special events draw between 75-125! Different program offerings attract different young people. That means we have reached at least 400 youths. As you can see in this community of 10,000 residents with between 500-600 middle and high school students, Rock House is serving a large majority of our youth.
Clear Creek Rock House needs your financial support in it's on-going struggle to provide a safe, alternative place for our community's young people to gather, enjoy, learn and experience the rewards of having a rock-solid foundation and positive life skills as they emerge into adulthood. Please contact Executive Director Cheryl Holmberg if you would like to make a donation at 303-567-4950 or email Cheryl at Cheryl@clearcreekrockhouse.com |
